SOCOPSE Final Conference

General information

Welcome to attend the SOCOPSE final conference free of charge held on June 24th and 25th, 2009 is the city of Maastricht in the Netherlands.

We will give you the latest news about Priority and Emerging Substances in Europe and how to plan for reduced emission of these substances into the aquatic environment.

The first day of the conference will give you an overview of the project results and discuss the next generation of river basin management plans.

Topics for discussion

  • Do we have the right information, data and guidelines for planning cost-effective measures?
  • What can be learned from the six European case studies in the first water management cycle according to the Water Framework Directive?
